I won’t bore you with some banal chat today. Not when I’ve belter pictures to be showing you from Foster The People’s headline gig at the Olympia from this week.
As always, click to see them larger over at Flickr.

Better late than never, eh?
Apologies for the delay, but here are the rest of my choices from OFWGKTA. It got much heavier once we got out of the pit, with Tyler crowd surfing several times, despite being in a cast with a broken foot. The crowd lapped it up – and fell over quite a few times. It was like a punk gig, or something. Terrible day to be a bouncer, I’d imagine. Anyway, enjoy this lot!

This week I was charged with formatting an old hard drive in the house. Thinking I’d the lot I needed from it, I hadn’t checked it in months. After a quick look around I found some from the Kerrang! Relentless Energy tour a few years back. I don’t know how I’d missed editing them the first time, so here they are. A little bit banded and desaturated (such are the problems when you shoot in .jpg!), but otherwise fine. The bands are My Passion, The Blackout and All Time Low. They were as bad as each other musically, but they made for some decent poses at least!

I recently met up to photograph musician Tommy McNulty in Temple Bar. Having found my 50mm (It had run away on me) I took it along and used it for the first time in far too long. I also brought the strobes with me, as I am now wont to do and worked as best I could with some very changeable lighting conditions. I’m happy with the shots, they’re fit for their purpose (for posters – hence al the ‘white space’), but Tommy should be appearing on Deadl.ie again soon, albeit in more fun shots.
We also gave levitation a go. It was a bit freaky.
And so I returned! Here’s some B&W shots from last week. As always, click to see larger. Will hopefully have more next week.
A drive to Portmarnock. That’d be fun AND relaxing. And it’d be a nice place to get some pictures.
Several hours later – having scaled wet rocks, nearly dropped my camera into the sea, been ambushed by a Mother Heron and then pinched by a wee crab, I gave up. I returned home exhausted, but with some decent landscape shots. Here they are in all their monotonic glory. Also, three posts in three days – and it’s not even Christmas! You lucky people, you.
These are only wee in size here, so if you wanna be truly gobsmacked and allow your retinas to feast upon some non-resticted sizes of these images, you should click them to see them in gorgous fullsize (and on a lovely black background, too)
I’m too good to you people…
